About OAF Foundation
Empowering Lives. Elevating Communities.
Who We Are
A Mission-Driven Organization
OAF Foundation is a registered nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of widows, special needs children, women, and underserved communities across Africa. Our work focuses on special needs support, food security, clean water access, education, and sustainable livelihoods delivered through structured, accountable, and impact driven programs.
We believe real change happens when compassion is paired with planning, transparency, and long-term commitment.
Our Journey
How We Started
Our Story
OAF Foundation started because we saw real people struggling around us. We saw widows who did not have enough support, children with special needs who were often forgotten, and families trying to survive with very little help. These situations made it clear that something needed to be done. We began as a self funded initiative, with a focus on acting responsibly, learning from the communities we were supporting, and making sure every effort mattered. We believe that even small actions can make a difference, and we are committed to doing this work with honesty, care, and long term purpose. Over time, some donors who shared our values and believed in what we were doing chose to support us. Their support has helped us do more, plan better, and reach further, while staying true to our belief that people deserve support that respects their dignity and helps them move forward. From inception, the foundation adopted a disciplined approach: assess needs, plan carefully, implement responsibly, and measure outcomes. What began as modest, direct interventions has evolved into a structured organization with defined leadership, clear programs, and a multi year development roadmap. This is just the beginning of our journey, and we are committed to doing the work the right way.
